I'm not on social media anymore, but in years past, when I wrote things critical of that particular nexus of axioms, attitudes and aesthetics I was at the time calling 'idpolism-cancelism', I got a ton of pushback. There, and on friends’ pages and comment sections all across the social mediascape, I noticed a trend in discussions about conflict resolution in woke scenes. Basically, it goes like this: writing anything openly critical of cancel culture makes you immediately suspect. If you’ve ever been canceled, mentioning the existence of cancel culture makes you ever more suspect.
